At Idea Design Studio (IDS) we take your product seriously.

There are thousands of trade shows to choose from and we must make the wisest decisions about which shows give our clients products and inventions the best possible opportunity to be exposed to the proper individuals.

IDS will always make sure that we screen the tradeshow and pick the highest possible percentage of “win opportunities” for our inventors. The tradeshows are important but we also take into consideration the surrounding events that are included in or around the trade show. There are many other functions that allow us to network and build trust with potential buyers, suppliers or producers. The main trade show opportunities do not always allow for proper understanding of a person’s product or idea. We must be flexible to take advantage of all the time in and around each trade event to maximize the exposure and positive “buzz” of the product, new invention or new idea.

As always we keep the client first. Safety is very important at a tradeshow event. We take every precaution to insure the privacy and protection of our customer’s invention, new idea or revolutionary concept. Even ideas that are improvements on existing concepts must be guarded with utmost energy and skill. Our trained professionals are highly skilled in giving the proper information when needed not only at the big event and scheduled show undertakings but also the side event and subsidiary events in and around the main trade show.

Presentation, protection and skillful marketing are very important when involved with trade events. We understand that even more important is follow-up and feedback from our various shows. You have the confidence that we will do whatever is necessary to follow up with interested companies, suppliers or producers to make sure any questions are answered, that the right people have those answers and that we have a date or deadline to receive feedback on potential partnerships.

Follow through on show involvement is key to the success of our clients, inventors and potential pioneers of any given industry.

Yankee Invention Expo - Waterburry, CT The Yankee Invention Expo mission is threefold: 1. To educate inventors and entrepreneurs on how to bring their product to market 2. To help inventors meet new product scouts and others who may license or buy their inventions 3. To help local businesses find profitable new products to manufacture and sell The Yankee Invention Exposition started as a "Pet Project" of the Waterbury Region Convention and Visitors Bureau to help re-vitalize Waterbury and surrounding towns. The first Exposition in 1995 was so successful that the group of volunteers, the Yankee Invention Expo Committee, realized the incredible value and the many avenues that it could run down. The Exposition, together with the Entrepreneur Workshops provided a common meeting ground for new inventors, people with new products in different stages of development, businessmen looking for new products that their company could license and manufacture, and a source of much needed information, resources, education, and best of all, networking. It's been a sell-out ever since.
